Great Lakes Dialysis, LLC is hiring Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses to serve our dialysis patients and help manage our clinical teams at our Detroit location.
Registered Nurse
Description
- Operational Hours: Monday – Saturday 5:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Closed on Sundays!
- Shift expectation: Work 3 – 4 shifts per week, alternating Saturdays, shifts are 10 – 13hrs at a time.
- Extensive training: Hands on training the first 6-9 weeks of employment.
- Growth opportunities: Charge Nurse, Home Therapies
Full vaccination against COVID-19 or a medical/religious exemption is required.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan
- Current BLS
- Excellent communication skills to listen and communicate with patients and teammates
- A desire to deliver empathetic and compassionate care
- Experience assessing, trouble shooting and making sound decisions in stressful situations
- You must have a flexible schedule and be able to work mornings, evenings, Saturdays, and holidays
- Associates Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N); three-year diploma from accredited diploma program may be substituted for nursing degree
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word. You will be required to chart patient’s assessment, orders and your care notes in our electronic medical record system.

Licensed Practical Nurse
